He thought it was just a strange egg… until it started glowing. 
Blue sparks suddenly exploded across the shell as cracks spread everywhere. Then the egg opened — and inside was something impossible.
A tiny mermaid baby slowly lifted its head and looked straight at him. 
But the strangest part happened seconds later…
The blue light reflected across his face, and suddenly his own eyes began glowing bright blue.
Whatever was inside that egg had changed him.
And this was only the beginning…
